Best oled monitor?

I’m building a high end 1440p gaming pc and I want to get high end 1440p oled monitor. The one that got my eye is ASUS XG27AQWMG tandem oled, is it good or there are better options around the same price.

The "best" is probably the ASUS PG27AQWP-W and LG 27GX790B-B. These are the two 1440p 540hz Tandem WOLED monitors, but they're roughly 2x the price of the 280hz models. If you don't play primarily eSports titles at low quality settings, you're not going to see much of a benefit from these.
The ASUS XG27AQWMG, LG 27GX700A-B, and Gigabyte MO27Q28G are the three Tandem WOLED 1440p 280hz options available in the US. The best one is whichever is the least expensive when you're looking to buy, as they're effectively identical monitors. The LG model has slightly worse HDR accuracy than the other two, but it's not something you're likely to notice, at least if you apply the latest firmware update for it. Right now the LG model is $590, the Gigabyte $600, and the ASUS $650.
The only real difference between them is the fact the ASUS is glossy and has a proximity sensor that'll turn off the monitor for you when you walk away, and turn it back on when you get close. If you're really worried about burn in, it's a nice to have feature. However WOLED has been less susceptible to burn in than QD-OLED for a long time now so its debatable how important this is. There are people who have had some first generation WOLED monitors, disabled all burn in mitigation on them day one, and use them as both a work from home and gaming monitor for many hundreds of hours... and after 5 years of continual use is just starting to show signs of burn in. QD-OLED seems to get to that level of noticeable burn in after about 1 1/2 years. I've also seen a lot of people complain that the proximity sensor doesn't work very well and turns off randomly when they're sitting in front of it, so a lot of people who've tried it turn it off. The glossy vs matte coating is a matter of taste. Some people feel very strongly about glossy coatings vs matte, and for everyone else I recommend matte.
I'd only recommend glossy if you're going to primarily use the monitor in a dark room with nothing with lights on it behind you.
...
Tandem WOLED does have two drawbacks vs QD-OLED.
The first is HDR color saturation. While significantly better than the previous generations of WOLED, is still not as good as QD-OLED due to the white subpixel all WOLEDs have. It should be noted that LG has shown off prototype monitors with an RGB stripe subpixel layout and no white subpixel which they referred to as "Tandem RGB OLED" without the W, which is confusing since they first called Tandem WOLED panels "Primary RGB Tandem OLED", and currently call the Tandem WOLED panels "Tandem OLED" without the W even though they're still WOLED panels. So who knows what they'll call that generation of panel when it finally reaches the consumer market.
The second is the "dirty screen" or "striped" look. This is a panel lottery thing where some will have noticeable lines of slightly darker and slightly brighter areas when showing solid near black grey or colors. Some won't at all. QD-OLED has much better consistency here and is always very consistent.

Does is matter visually if it glossy or matte?

Some people find glossy panels to be sharper looking that matte. If you have better than 20/20 vision, or sit very close to your monitor, it might matter. If you haven't noticed anything wrong with your current monitor, you probably won't really notice a difference.

Rn I’m playing everything on my zephyrs G14. I got it 2024 and had no issues with it at all. Never had a monitor before.

nah the coating is a huge difference. I would never get a matte coating, it just does not have the crispiness that I would expect in an OLED. But matte has its uses in brighter environments.

What do you consider bright to affect the glossy panel

The ASUS is definitely not a bad choice at all. Honestly we’ve reached the point where most high-end OLEDs are “pick your flavor” more than outright bad vs good.
If you mainly care about immersive single-player gaming, HDR, and that glossy OLED look, the ASUS is probably one of the nicest-looking options out there.
The main alternatives people usually compare against are:
Personally I’d just decide based on:
Because image quality-wise, all of these are kind of insane now lol

240hz 32 inch qd OLED with decent HDR. Price goes from 900s to 1300 or so. Fluctuates. Goated monitor.
