Fully Realtime Interaction Models

I know this model isn't open weights, and when it does drop it'll be over api, but I'm just posting to say the very MICROsecond that this drops you already know me and probably a bunch of other people are going to create an insane amount of distill data from the api.
because at least to me the very idea of a model that has complete ability to act on it's own accord is fascinating.

What’s special about it? Too lazy to read the link.

The demos are cool. I like them because they show what the new architecture can do without feeling fake like other major labs. Worth the few minutes watch, IMO.

I think this sub should allow discussions of new (as in different) stuff coming out, even if it's behind an API. At least we know where the field is, can discuss approaches, and have people suggest local alternatives that get close. The "local only" crowd gets a bit too animated IMO.

well llama is dead atp lmao. but yeah I agree I mean this is a "new model" but I wanted to talk about it as more of a discussion.

Serious question, how is this all that different than the demos we saw of Qwen3 Omni, that this sub went crazy for 7 months ago? https://www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA/comments/1nntdok/qwen3omni_looks_insane/

that's turn based, this isn't. It's similar to personaplex, except actually seemingly intelligent. It also tokenizes time, which is a very interesting idea, because it can do things like set a 30 second timer in itself
