Never heard of Parker Bros?!!! Man, you’re in for a surprise. Jealous.

My great uncle gave me a barrel, a literal barrel, of barrels to “scrap”
UllrRllr@reddit
Oof. So you just have a barrel? Well that’s a bummer. There are some Parker forums. I’d start there. I’m sure you can find someone who will want to purchase it.
Golgonuts@reddit (OP)
Yeah just the barrel, I need to see if he has the rest.
UllrRllr@reddit
If he has the rest you’re def in the money. Especially if it’s a matching second barrel for a gun.

Larry Potterfield from Midway USA has some videos on YouTube about a Parker Brothers shotgun. It was a 10 gauge of i remember right. Pretty neat. Don't scrap it until you figure out if it's worth something. I think those are Damascus steel barrels.
Golgonuts@reddit (OP)
Yeah it says Damascus. You Can still see the pattern really well

Arguably some of the greatest double barrel shotguns ever made
Golgonuts@reddit (OP)
Any idea on how to date this barrel?

Usually bringing flowers and a poem helps.
Golgonuts@reddit (OP)
That’s funny
csx348@reddit
Is there a serial number anywhere on it?
Tommygun1921@reddit
Only gun i ever sold was a parker bros. No regrets, i used the money to buy ammo.

Hey thanks so much for the info. I don’t know what the markings mean, but I think I might have a “D” marked barrel. Trying to put an age range in it.
