Building for a friend. It's been awhile, I live in Australia, damn ssd and ram prices, yikes.
Trying to keep cost as down as possible while still being a great build. Any extra money will go into the monitor and peripherals

First thing to pop out at me is the ram - 6000 is ok and i'm not familiar with the brand, but CL28 is pretty exotic and low for 6000 ram.
If you're getting it for a good price then awesome, but if you can save some money and get something like CL30 then for gaming you're probably not going to notice the difference.
On the cpu, if the machine is purely for games then great, but if you also want it for other productivity minded tasks then it may be worth looking at the 9800x3d. It's about the same for gaming, but is faster for other tasks where the 3d cache isn't as important.

Also with Ram (probably what I know the least about), whadya reckon?
2x16gb of:
-CL28 6000mhz
-CL40 6400mhz
-CL36 6000mhz
You can see where I'm going with this...
CL30 6000mhz seems to be a bit difficult to find, and when I do, it's very expensive ($700+)

If you can get 6000 CL28 for a decent price then I'd go for it. There's nothing wrong with lower cas latency values (in fact it's better), it's just normally something you pay a premium for - and CL28 is pretty low for 6000 ram!

yeah, the ram stuck out for me too. This brand and the CL28 version is on sale I think? Or it's just cheaper. The CL30 6000 sticks are all about 699-749, and the one I found was 599. So ya. The CL 28 is cheaper for whatever reason.
Cpu, I'm pretty sure it's mainly for gaming. I'll ask to see if there's anything above and beyond. Thanks for the response, I really appreciate it!

Case fans?
Stunbanksy@reddit (OP)
Hey, ya, the case has 4x140mm pwm fans preinstalled. I absolutely know there are better fans I could swap out. But the reviews on this case seem pretty decent with the stock, so gonna see what happens! Thanks for the shout out, I appreciate the response!
