is a 3070, 5600x, 32gb ddr4 good for $950?

i have the gpu and ram in my cart on ebay and the cpu on amazon. i want to know if these specs are good or bad for the price.

Yeah that's definitely on the high side. A 5600X is around $180, 32GB DDR4 is $200-220, and a used 3070 goes for about $280 on eBay. So you're looking at roughly $660-700 for those three parts alone. Make sure you factor in a decent motherboard, PSU, and case for the rest of that $950 budget.

Thats high for pc with 5600x

Sounds like you butchered your title and you are considering these 3 components for $450? So the GPU around 200, 5700x(new $200) and 32gb ram for $50? That's not bad, but that's all the big components how are you spending $500 on the rest? Monitor is all I can think of.

AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D 4.0GHz Processor;
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7;
16GB DDR5-6000 RAM;
1TB Solid State Drive
this is $999 at micro center. newer stuff. less ram.
now compare apples to apples.

Almost wrote this exactly, I have this build but was lucky to grab at 899. Much better option

For 950…. Considering 5600x are 180$, 32gb of ddr4 is 200-220$ , and rtx 3070 8gb I can find for around 280$ … you are overpaying by 250-300 bucks

3070 for $260 here and 5700X for $100. For $700-800 depends on other components it is good PC but not more. $650 will be a steal, doubt that someone is selling them that low now.

I would maybe look up the build on pcpartpicker and see that the prices are.

not really

No chance

I sold my old build, only difference is I had Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3060 Ti Master. Sold for 700. So you are overpaying. I think 800 is appropriate
mastersanada@reddit
No. If you have Best Buy in your area look for open boxes deals. MicroCenter/Costco prebuilts are a good option too.
8000RPM@reddit
That's like $400 max. Locally I'd offer 250$ because I'm a degenerate.
Destructo-Bear@reddit
I've bought similar machines for $600. I would go $700 max
outlaw4lf@reddit
I’m going to be selling something similar actually soon for about half the price $950 is ridiculous and either mid to high end motherboard.
IllRadish8765@reddit
No way in hell I'd pay $1000 for 3 components from 2020.

i probably should have put in the title the whole build is 950. these parts are like 450
