I travel to the Bay Area for work. I love to hear the roaring takeoffs when picking up a car at the Rental Car center, which is right by the end of that runway.
I spent a week in a home in San Bruno directly over the departure path. Scared me the first time, shook the house and had way less altitude than I expected
This plane on this route flies over my house in the PNW every other evening or so. It's at altitude but I still always recognize it because it's massive and it's contrails are thick
There are a few spots in SF where you can see this big boi doing big boy things. I think the flight path after the turn usually takes it over the Golden Gate Bridge. There is also a spot on Highway 1 near Pacific where it jumpscared me coming over the hill after takeoff.

I live on the great highway in San Francisco. I see this daily flight as it passes by before turning east at the golden gate.
I’m gonna guess that this video was taken about 4:15 pm as that’s about the time I regularly see it. It’s so big and so loud, just fantastic.

I will fly on one of these behemoths someday, and I will insist on flying business (I will not pay for it)

The Emirates and Qatari have a bar at the back of the upstairs deck.
You can get out your bed, wander to the back, and sit at an actual bar drinking obscenely expensive malts out of a crystal glass.
It’s surreal.

I'm sure that plane is very large, but I need a banana for scale.

Unfortunately no banana on site

Is the 380 a little too close to the other aircraft taxiing, or is it just the perspective?
Da_hoodest_hoodrat@reddit
Perspective. That taxiway in between the runways is over 700ft long. The plane holding short is ~130ft long.

Sheesh. 15h 40m to fly SFO to DXB (which I am guessing is where this flight is headed since it's Emirates).

Crop it. Good composition makes for good videos.
