Anyway, I never totally blame people in OZ abandon their local auto industry because GM and Ford also needed some responsible in their OZ part, they had many bad business in the past.
Right now, people in OZ now enjoy any cheap cars from SEA and China, that's their chosen, but they now can't prevent China and SEA controlling local market.

We're a small market, Even if Holden and Ford has made the right business decisions (which they didn't), they were always one government pulling the funding plug away. It wasn't a sustainable proposition, we've made a lot of great cars but the times have changed. We have a very competitive car market, with the amount of brands on offer. Yes, China is trying to swoop in and gain market-share battling on features and price. It's reminiscent of early Korean & Japanese imports. The big existing players could be in trouble but we also haven't seen them fully fire back yet.
