Do you have any suggestions to beat out scalpers for the next line of RTX?

I am generally new to PC building but what I do know is that a 4090 shouldn't be a $4000 Canadian, used with 4 years of use. And this is really all I see approximately on secondary markets.
WIth that said, what are best practises/websites/companies you go to, to beat out scalpers.
Obviously something is shifting in this space, and the prices just are not acceptable for the average person.
Is there a company (i.e. Best Buy) where it was a straight forward experience to get a new line of GPUs?

You don’t need to be experienced in PC building. Scalpers are out there for a lot of products. The only option you have to beat scalpers is, pre order as soon as a product is up for sale.

If you consider the fact the Nvidia are basically scalpers at this point just buy AMD haha
Im only like 60% joking here nvidias prices are wild now

Be the scalper yourself! There are bots you can buy or even build yourself with help of AI, sure they are not the best but you will get a good chance.

Scalpers are certainly an issue, but the bigger problem is artificial scarcity. Nvidia is purposefully producing less chips to keep demand and prices up.

No, NVidia is making as many chips as they can get TSMC to fab.
They’re just going to the Sam Altmans of the world instead of us, because promising rich people that you can replace their employees is an infinite money glitch (if you are also rich).

There also wont be a new RTX line for at least 8 to 10 months. You have some time to plan

Around 2020 I used a service called HotStock to get a Ryzen 5600X, 5800X, and 5900X.
It gave me a notification anytime the product came back in stock, so we could buy it instantly.
Otherwise buy a small tent and go camping in line outside a retailer.

Other than pre-ordering the moment they go up for sale, no. There's no way to beat the scalpers.

Buy soon as they hit the market & buy from good reputable vendors like Microcenter & Best Buy. One trick is to setup alerts for new releases on specific products for Best Buy. That's how I ended up with a 4070 for retail price when it came out.
