So anyone got any idea why I might be getting rejected? I have 6 years otr at my current company, double triples and tanker. Only restriction is auto.
No accidents or tickets.
I’m getting kind of pissed. They’re one of two companies that hire for local jobs around me.

It's most likely the otr to local. It's a very hard transfer to make otr to food service especially if you been otr for a while. And the supervisor doesn't want to take a risk of on boarding you and then you quitting after a couple of days

I applied everything good , got denied in 2 days

Not sure but I just got hired 😛

Maybe they don't hire drivers direct from OTR.
I'm local and when I trained/orientate new drivers, guys coming from OTR seem to have the hardest time transitioning from the OTR driver mindset to a local driver mindset, and they were more likely to quit.

Is it availability you think, like are you open to work any shifts day or night? Or maybe they are flooded with applications and selecting those who been there within the company.

Could be the auto restriction

All of their trucks are automatics and I talked to one guy who has the same restriction.

No idea in that case

they prob got some inside hire or just posting to say theyre hiring while not hiring, it’s dumb, finding a decent local gig right now is insanely hard

Been trying for two years lmao. UPS won’t hire outside drivers. The only other ltl place around is where guys work till retirement I’ve never seen an opening. I applied to another food service company we will see what they say even tho it’s a bit more of a commute.
