We’ve been together almost 9 years. I can’t wait to see him daily. We laugh a lot. We are best friends.

Heck yeah. 38 years later this month. Can’t believe how much he loves me. I can believe how much I love him but don’t think I’m all that great. Somehow he sees me differently.

I'm 58, my wife and I will be married 36 years in October. We still love each other, and keep our relationship sexually charged. We flirt, I'll cop a feel when I'm walking by, send her suggestive texts, or a d pic. And we still laugh a lot too!

It'll be 31 years this year and we're still crazy in love. Every once in a while, life gets in the way but we're still the teenagers we were when we first started dating. We started dating at 14, broke up dated other people, she had a kid, we got back together and it's been amazing!
LoveMySpoiledChi@reddit
My parents married when they were 15 & 21. My dad passed at 52. They had been married 30 years. A year after my dad’s death my mom started dating my second dad. They only dated 3 months. They were married just shy of 35 years married when she passed. It’s hard to imagine being married that long twice.

Knew him since I was 12. Married him at 30, still together 30 years and 4 kids later. 💗💗💗

Met at 15, together since 16, married at 21. Gonna be married 28 years in the Fall. Still happy and our marriage has outlived all others around us, so I guess we're doing something right.

In August, we will have been married for 14 and together for 17. At our wedding, I told her, "You're prettier than me, smarter than me, and you put up with my crap. I win."

Been with my partner for 20+ years. If they are away for a couple days, I get the same butterflies I had when we went on our first date when I know they are on their home. They are my absolute favourite human on earth.

I've been with my husband for 34yrs, Since we were 15yrs old. We've been married 30yrs. We raised 2 kids and have been empty nesters for 3yrs now. He's my best friend, my lover, my adventure buddy, my confident and everything else. I adore him more than ever.

Married 38 years together for 40 years. I’m 61 and she is 60. We spent our whole lives together. I am as attracted if not more so then when I first saw her as the most beautiful 19-year-old girl I had ever seen in my life. She’s my girl.

Married 34 years to my wonderful and handsome husband. He’a retired and drives me nuts but I love him to pieces!
I love how every day and he tells me I’m beautiful. Even if I’m sick and haven’t showered in 3 days; then ask for a kiss. Dude, I’m sick. Well, If I get sick, I’ll be able to cuddle with my beautiful bride.
When he hears our song THANK YOU by Led Zeppelin, my big old Marine tears up. Yep, were are still in love. ❤️❤️❤️

About to hit 37 years together. It feels like 7 years. No matter what happens in life, I'm fortunate to have met my soulmate when we were just teenagers. We are still head over heels in love, and she is my best friend.
All we want to do is retire and spend more time together.

Hitting 34 years! I'm 55, she's 59. We used to work together when I was 16 and she was 20; but she wouldnt go out with me (no matter how much I pestered her) until I was 18. Dated for three years then got married.

Just about to hit 26 years together, would be even better if our kids could afford to move out 😂

I've been with my husband for 20 years this November!! He STILL cannot keep his hands off me (as annoyed as I get with me in menopause rn!! LOL) We did separate for a few years, but I knew he was my person, there was NO ONE else I could do this life with, so I never gave up on us.

I'm glad for you!
I was widowed at 40 from a man I was with for 21 years when our kids were still young. I ended up marrying the single dad of one of my kids' friends five years later.
I was blessed to have two good, but not perfect, marriages. With both spouses daily "I love yous" and holding hands and leaving love notes and cheering each other on were part of the package (still with my chapter two, of course).
Swimming_Ad_8856@reddit
Yep! Good on you too!

30 years last month, we've known each other for 34 years. I lucked up and married WAY up, she's the best thing that's ever happened to me. She still, after all this time, genuinely wants me to be happy, is my best friend, and is always in my corner. I can't ask for more.

We both got lucky the second time around. Going on a dozen years for us and we still feel like honeymooners. Better than the alternative, got to see my parents and grandparents stuck in 50-60 year long marriages where they just hated each other.

Same. I was fortunate my husband was the product of a very happy marriage. It cane natural to him and I am still learning. 🥰

40 years this year. We still say " I love you " many times daily, hold hands, kiss frequently everyday. We met at a Dolphin football game during halftime. I went to see some friends and didn't want to sit in someone's seat but, she grabbed my hand and said " you can sit right here ". We exchanged info and went out that night. She came home with me and never left. She is my hero. I can't imagine being more in love.

It'll be 22 years next month. And it's a bit of a "story" imo.
Funny thing is...I've known her since she was born. Her mom and my mom were best friends growing up. Her mom often babysat me when I was little. Her parents got married when I was....7? She was born when I was 11.
We lived about an hour+ apart and I saw her maybe a couple dozen times over the years. Lastly in 1987, when I was 20 and she was 9. Just before my folks and I moved out of the LA area (I was in college and living at home, so I transferred in the CSU system).
The story my MIL tells is that on that day, my (to-be) wife was upset because her Barbie's head had come off and I put it back on for her...and my MIL said that she had a "vision" at that moment, as I knelt next to her handing the repaired Barbie back to her. That someday we would be married.
But honestly, I never really thought much about her. She was kinda like family to me.
But in 2003, I lost a job in the Bay Area and decided to get out of the city, take a few months off, stay with my parents (in the Sierra Nevada foothills), spend some time with my ailing grandmother and decide where I would go/what I would do next.
Literally three days after I arrived, she and her mom arrived for a visit. She was 24 and I was 35.
We spent a couple of weeks together while they visited and...somehow, we both just...knew. It wasn't a choice, it just was. Plain as the noses on our faces.
I asked her to marry me three months later. And we still, both, just know that this is what was always meant to be.

Met in 88 and have been happily together ever since. Marriage isn’t always easy. It’s just consistently choosing that person over and over. We’ve created a terrific life and family together.

37 years married this January, together for 41. Spouse is my best friend. We do geeky things together and dote on our three cats (he wasn't a cat guy when I married him, because he'd never lived with them. Now they have him wrapped around their little paws). We don't have any kids by choice, so we're free to pursue our nerdy hobbies together. It doesn't feel even close to that long. We both still feel like college kids (albeit college kids with old people aches and pains!)

We hit 30 years in December last year. First few years were a bit rough, but she worked through some things and learned I wasn't going to cheat, be dishonest, or betray her in any way (because that's what every man in her family had done and that's all she knew).
Once she got past that, we're inseparable. There's not a single person in the world I would rather be next to at any time.

Displaced_in_Space@reddit
We're coming up on 30 years in August. The time just flew buy and although there were times when the going got tough (illness, early money shortage, etc) there was only one real relatioship rough patch and it happened right around the 7 year mark. We both recognized an issue and wanted it to work, so off to couples therapy we went for about 6 months.
We've been great ever since. And we really enjoy each other's company above just about anyone else to be honest. We don't vacation separately. Other than business trips, the only stuff we do separately is she goes skiing with her dad once a year or so for a few days.
We will remark often about how lucky we both are to have found each other and how well it all works.
To be fair, we both believe that not having kids (judjing from things our friends went through) and having money after about 10 years of marriage (career growth started to pay off), things got a LOT easier as time went by.

25 years ago he asked me out and stood me up. I asked him to visit after a couple drinks of liquid courage about a week later. I passed out topless in his arms and we haven't been apart since!
