Not sure where to post this question.
Was curious why this fella was buzzing my neighbors house and block for a few.
Appeared to be flying unusually low.
Any idears?

This is N50GV a Bell 407 owned by Duke Energy. So as others have said they’re doing powerline patrol.

Likely powerline patrol, that's a camera on the front, probably a FLIR and are quite possibly doing an infrared patrol looking for issues with the power lines, hardware, substations, etc.

Yes 2 years ago. It was just strange for a weekday random fly by. I could have thrown a rock he got so close at one point. You’re right though. Who knows, who cares. I have vids of him hovering this is just the initial flyby.

Was it the police? Was it a survey company? Was it a news station?
