Where do you get your bed sheets from?

Duvet covers and sheets, where’s a good standard for a decent price?
Or is it all the same if you know what to look for?

Any supermarket ones are fine, just make sure they're 100% cotton.

We were getting high thread count fitted sheets from The Linen Cupboard (online), but some recent pillowcases from them shredded in less than a year and the sheet purchased at the same time is fast wearing out where it is gathered by the elastic.
So I succumbed to advertising on You Tube, and were trying a sheet from Rise & Fall. It’s a lower thread count, but the sheet is deeper and fits the mattress better. It also has a different elastic arrangement, there’s an elasticated strip sewn onto the sheet rather than elastic threaded through a ‘tunnel’.
Time will tell if it wears any better, though tbh it was half the price of The Linen Cupboard ones, so even if it only does as well I’ll be happy.

I only sleep in linen and get them from the Secret Linen Store. I find cotton sheets feel cold and clammy while linen feels pleasantly cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
IguanaDog@reddit
Linen ones from soak and sleep but they are eye wateringly expensive!
Pure cotton ones from Habitat in Sains.

I have some mid range John Lewis ones that feel heavenly.

Almost always M&S for me.

Ikea do a cotton range, its great and cheap

For my fancy, silky feeling sheets - John Lewis. For my fancy, winter cosy sheets - Dunelm. For my less fancy silky feeling sheets - Amazon (this particular set was a recommendation, I wouldn’t buy a random set off Amazon)

Amazon because have a super king sized bed and hate actual going shopping.I have two sets of winter bedding and two lots of summer bedding as hate clutter.I just replace when necessary I have a double and single set if I have guests.I have a summer and winter duvet so if anyone's sick can clean at a laundrette.

MIL gifts us M&S bedding every year and it’s really nice!
Prestigious-Salt-245@reddit
It can't be that good if it only lasts a year, or do you enjoy stockpiling it?
Yourepissed@reddit
It lasts more than a year 🤣 we just get a new set for Christmas to add to the rotation. Tbf she’s only been MIL for 3 years.
YouCantGiveBabyBooze@reddit
for bedsheets, I'm only really arsed about whether they are 100% cotton or not. Asda George sell the cheapest 100% cotton ones I could find, so I buy from there.
Embarrassed_Park2212@reddit
Got some from Amazon with pockets in lol. I think the pockets are for phone or kindle or midnight snack. But the best thing is it has elastic all around the edge of the sheet, instead of just the corners like normal sheets, so it doesn't ping off the corners of the bed.
Fit_Balance8329@reddit
Amazon, because I have a super king sized bed and can’t always find nice ones in person.
Who_Knows_M3@reddit
Browse around wherever. Good cotton and high TC. Hate when a sheet bubbles and goes rough

Sainsbury's habitat range

For fitted sheets i like the jersey cotton ones from lidl. Great value and very soft. For duvet covers I tend to buy from next (in their sale) or asda.
ScaryButt@reddit
I recently invested in the Dunelm fancy Egyptian cotton range and it's definitely worth it. Makes me feel like I'm getting into a posh hotel bed every night

I got mine out of a skip next to Brannigans in Oldham.
Quite soft but still find the odd tiny sliver of broken glass.
Still, thems the breaks

We've been getting them online from John Lewis more recently. Can be a pain finding quality superking stuff.

Lidl duvet and cover, but they only do fitted sheets which get pulled up the side of the mattress so I need to find black flat sheets.

M&S Egyptian cotton 400 thread count for me - I think it’s a nice balance of quality / price especially when they have 20% of bedding

Dunelm and Habitat (via Argos/Sainsburys) are good for the price , I love the Scion prints from Habitat
lilfaeri@reddit
i’ve got a few nice sets from habitat, they usually have nice prints & designs and i find the quality is pretty good for the price

Argos.
imtiramisu2025@reddit
Tkmax as you can often find some really good quality ones for very little. I have a bit of a sensory issue with bed sheets so NEED high thread count.
My husband did actually find some really good ones on Very when we first met.
lilfaeri@reddit
usually dunelm or john lewis if i’m feeling fancy
CunningOctopus@reddit
Yep, M&S too
GodOfThunder888@reddit
Asda and Primark, they are budget but I find the texture of their duvet covers just much better than most other shops.
