I had one, probably just over 100 different bottles/cans, threw it all out when I got divorced in 2014.

I had a beer can collection too. Started in my teens, rescuing cans from the town recycling center. Of course, once I was old enough to drink, the collection grew much more rapidly, haha.
Left them behind at my parents' house when I moved out in the mid 90s. Eventually my Mom called and said "get these damn things outta my garage before I throw them out" so I sold em on Craigslist.

I had all of the New York Seltzer bottles.

I have a lot of cans and rare bottles that I still collect. My uncle had a bar in his basement with a collection of cans from all over. I guess that’s what got me started.

My brother had one. Our dad traveled all over the world and he would bring back cans that would have been impossible to get otherwise. He sold them all about 30 years ago.

Had one then and I have one now!

My parents were alcoholics, Dad would drink multiple sixpacks of tall Budweiser out of the can, every night for years. The last thing I wanted around were more beer cans.

I still have mine in storage. I need to get my garage finished so I can display them again.
Oiggamed@reddit
How much do you spend every month to store empty beer cans?
Exidor@reddit
I’ve got a lot of stuff in storage so it’s no big deal.
Oiggamed@reddit
I certainly hope its total value is less than what you’ve spent on storage.

I had a beer bottle collection in the 80's.

I did too

Mine were all thrown out / recycled not long after I moved out of my parents' house. Must have had over 100 different ones. Seems like there were a lot cans laying on the ground back then, littering wasnt considered rude.

Everyone had one. You were required to show it to new acquaintances to determine their friend-worthiness. It was that generations LinkedIn.

Bottles not can's and I finially got rid of them a couple years ago. Odd thing is I don't even like beer.
