Just ordered two pairs of these as extras to have on hand. I have no experience with them.
It looks like they also have a few other models as BOGO as well:

Haha nice try big business, I don’t use any hearing pro and I’ll be saving that $60!

Due_Pen_1566@reddit
He said he's using Ani Hearing Pros and saved half of the $60

These are kinda hot dogshit compared to razer slims btw. I bought this deal before and I still go for my razor slims. The build quality really iffy
paperkeyboardalt@reddit
Do these have stereo sound?
Normie_cleansing@reddit
Both do yes
NothingButACasual@reddit
Both? Cuz Razor slims absolutely do not
The_Longest_Shot@reddit
I know nothing of either other than their noise reduction rating. Razor has a lower rating, why do you prefer them?
Normie_cleansing@reddit
They sit on my head a little better but that’s 100% just a personal thing.
the slims have a better volume knob that actually clicks and retains position. The alpha’s have two knobs, one for each ear, and they’re extremely loose and does not retain the “off” position. The slightest bump or rub will knock them on and drain the battery in my range bag. Even if I place them really gently in my bag, anything else in there that can touch them will dial the volume up and drain the batteries.
My second gripe for the alphas is that the battery covers simply fall off if you look at them weird. They’re so loosely held on that I don’t bother putting them back on or just resorted to taping them. Even a light jog to replace a target will have them drop and be lost in the grass forever.
Lastly the alphas are individually controlled noise suppression on each ear which leads to a weird feed back or buzz occasionally when both are on at a higher volume.
None of these issues ever presented on the 3 pairs of slims I have and the slims generally feel more comfortable to me. Unless I got like 4 lemons, I would not recommend the alphas over the slims
chuckisduck@reddit
I have a pair of Bluetooth Alphas that I use outdoor shooting or mowing the lawn.
I have the opposite effect on the dials on both, they click over but the turn on is after the click. They stay off.
The only annoying thing for me is that I want the least amount of volume as I mow the lawn while listening to a book or some YouTube video. The dials don't drift but setting the volume lol is annoying sometimes as I try to get amplification as low as possible.
The covers feel tight and are the opposite, as they don't want to come off when taking the batteries out to charge. I suspect the covers use the same mold for both and the other side of the mold are slightly different between the two.
The razors do feel more comfortable on my head as well, but really only start to notice if I take a long international flight with them. Use the walkers for watching video of the plane and foams for sleeping.

I have a pair of the ultimate quad BTs and I have a similar experience with them being annoying to set the volume low and the battery covers being mildly difficult to take off (which I’d prefer to them coming off too easily). I also have a pair of Howard Leigh’s with BT that are a bit easier to set at minimum to use the Bluetooth because the “click” is a little more tactile for lack of a better term. They also have a built in rechargeable battery which I kind of have mixed feelings about. On one hand nice to not have to mess with batteries, on the other if you realize at the range you forgot to change them and you can’t just swap in a new pair of batteries
chuckisduck@reddit
I have lots of rechargable and slowly shifting to the ones that manage.
How are the HL compared to the UQs for sound isolation and comfort?
Mahlegos@reddit
For me comfort and performance are about the same, with a slight edge to the HLs in comfort, but I also have gel cups on them and regular on the UQs, so that is likely the comfort edge and conversely also probably lowers the sound reduction a bit to being on par with the walkers. The HLs are also nice because they’re thinner which helps get a bit better cheek weld too.

Sounds like they're perfect as spares to share with friends at the range; which is my intended purpose.
2alife@reddit
FYI, I have had a couple pairs of an older version of the Bluetooth ones, and they consistently break where the wire goes into the ear cup due to the design flaw of where the wire is located when you fold them up. They sounded great, but you may get a year out of them before they break if you use them on a regular basis for work, for example.

Note the Razor Comm BT are under 60 on Amazon right now
madmanx33@reddit
Ya I dont get this "deal" they are charging over double amazon prices
storytimeme@reddit
Isn't it... Bogo though? You get two?
Electrical-Switch369@reddit
He's referring to the Comm BT in the post, not the main link. $129.99 for BOGO, so $65 each. Amazon has one for $56
madmanx33@reddit
Thank you I should have specified
Shepard718@reddit
I stand corrected the Razor Comm BT per is cheaper, the Ultimates are not thank you for the clarification.
janesvoth@reddit
Yeah. All good. We all have to take care of each other so we can all get great deals.
madmanx33@reddit
Buying 2 on Amazon still cheaper
Shepard718@reddit
It is not cheaper to buy 2 on Amazon.
madmanx33@reddit
I have it in my cart right now its
-15%
$56.83 each.
MongolianCluster@reddit
Maybe caused by everyone checking them out on amazon.
Electrical-Switch369@reddit
I'm confused though, it's $59.99 to buy two here, so it's $30 each. Razer comm is bt is $56.83 for a single one. How is it cheaper to buy that?
janesvoth@reddit
That's fair, but if you don't need 2 Amazon has the hookup
tand86@reddit
the recons are 40.99 on amazon today
Konabro@reddit
Do you have a link?
Minimum_Hope_5205@reddit
Are these a good upgrade over the razer slims? I fucked up my headband and a bogo for not much more for me and my wife looks appealing
ixipaulixi@reddit (OP)
26dB reduction on these vs 23dB on the razer slims. Not sure how much of a difference that actually makes, but worth noting...particularly if you shoot indoors.
AgathaCrispy@reddit
Learned about something relevant a while back called the '3 dB rule':
Every 3 dB increase equates to a doubling in sound energy. Every doubling in energy decreases the safe exposure time by half. Most people can't tell that there's been an change in how loud a sound is perceived until around a +/-10 dB change, but there's still a difference in intensity, and thus an change in potential for hearing damage over time.
Berry_Micockiner@reddit
If you use earplugs under your headset I’d say not really.
