Ripstop nylon repair

I'm looking to do an at home repair on these small holes in my tramps fory Waszp.
The hole is from rubbing on a shape edge that I have since filed down.
I was thinking of just putting some epoxy on them and then using sail repair tape to provide some more durability?
The tramps are under a lot of tension and held in position as seen in pics 3&4. So if the rip extends further it might rip all the way down.
Will this work/should I do a different repair? Or bring them to a sail repair shop?

It doesn't look like ripstop. I'd burn the hole a bit to prevent it from spreading, and, maybe, melt a tiny bit of the same material in the hole to make the surface smooth so it doesn't rip again.

Sail tape alone is fine for that tiny tear. Don't use epoxy. Use the sail tape intended for spinnaker repair. If someone brought this to my loft, that's all I would do.

I sometimes put stitches in the tape to adhere it better / reinforce the area further, do you think that is a sound strategy?

It's a fine strategy as such but you have to be careful not to make the fabric so thick that it catches on whatever track or slide the boltrope goes into.

Absolutely although doing it in the area of the bolt rope like OP has is tricky and wouldn't gain anything.

Oh yes and tedious.

Perfect job for the Speedy Stitcher. I always keep one on the boat. Easy to use. You'll use it often. Google it.

There's no ripstop nylon in any of these pictures.
Use sailtape, and ignore the tiny little on on the red it's literally nothing.

I would hit that with a bic lighter and call it good.
That isn't ripstop BTW. It's just plain weave. Ripstop has larger yarns every 1/4" or so on both the warp and the weft.

on the red...id consider melting. take a hot needle or other item to the loose threads. Or even a drop of CA on the frayed threads. then some sticky back over the top of it just to protect it.
it would be kind of like drilling a small hole near a crack to stop the crack. basically hoping the CA or melting the threads would lock it in to stop any further progression.
on the black section. if it doesn't slide any further unto the track. new nylon and wrap it around the damaged area like a U and then sew it down. basically holding the welting hem to the tramp so it can't tear. I would hot knife or melt the frayed edge as well.
