"Upgraded with 912 flat-four power"!
1) it already had flat four power, 2) huge boost from the original at 70 HP to a booming 90 HP, yep that should do it.

Regardless, it’s a near 30% increase in power.

They made cargo vans with less power in the 80’s so good enough

reminds me of a smaller Stout Scarab

Exactly!!! That's my exact thought!

LOL inside this sub I think you're in good company

One of the high points in my life was going to North Carolina to see a stout scarab. The owner actually let me touch it! Did you know each of the seats can be moved around specifically to fit around the table in the back so you can have a meeting?

That's so cool. I never knew that and would LOVE to see one in person.
I had the chance to see Tucker Torpedo #1037 at Francis Ford Coppola's winery in California a while back. Only 51 of those ever made but not nearly as rare as a Scarab

Oh I've seen a bronze colored one of those. I didn't realize it was that rare though. As of when I saw the Stout scarab they were only seven known to exist of the nine that were made. He also told me that it was the first vehicle or one of the first with independent suspension. He mentioned something about a vehicle in Germany that may have been just before. Oh and each rear end is different! The one I visited was the silver one or one of the silver ones I think there are two.

Wow, Porsches have been making for ass-ugly four doors for a lot longer than I thought.

And yet it's still significantly better looking than any of their modern efforts
