Honestly kinda insane that the first production Herc was converted to an AC-130, got hit by flak, and kept flying all the way to 1995. Figured that it was a common enough aircraft that they would have parked it decades earlier, especially since it probably had weird maintenance quirks being the first Herc to roll off the assembly line.
