That's a thing of beauty, what a great use for an arduino, a chap at our computer club had an altair with the floppy drive expansion underneath, I used to be fascinated by the switches and indicators on the front, he had special permission to use the lift as he had a teletype as well as a monitor and couldn't carry it all up and down the stairs, I remember playing lunar lander on it where you input a number for burn amount and time, no graphics, he also had it playing backgammon and poker.
They reminded me of the DDP-116 where I started learning to program the same year ('79) before building my own 6502 system.
