As an owner operator, what is your checklist for hiring a dispatcher?

What if I check all those boxes.?

I wouldn't look at hiring a dispatcher unless they eat ass real good and give me daily affirmations to make me feel good about myself.
They also need to accept pfj rewards points and rejected freight as compensation

I myself believe in affirmations and do them everyday. Ofcourse, i can do that for you..
Ok, that can be done.

I own a milk hauling company 45 trucks and we deliver to the same place everyday. The drivers know what days they are working. A computer on each farm sends out a message telling the driver when the load is going to be ready for pickup

Yeah! ... You are already in a good position. I don't know why you would comment on my post. But you have a very secure position. You will have more trucks and business will go great.
You don't need a dispatcher.

I own a small fleet and I don't even use a dispatcher

Can we talk a little more about this?
