PC issues after swapping GPUs

Having some issues with my girlfriend’s PC :/ Regularly, it freezes on the loading screen in games like League and CS2, and then you have to do a hard reset and load back in again. There’s also a problem where it NEVER starts on the first press of the power button. You have to try turning it on first, wait a few seconds, turn it off and then press the power button again for it to boot. Could the PSU be causing this?
Had a GTX 1080 before swapping to the RTX 5060, this never happened before.
Specs:
R5 5600
Asus B350 Plus
16GB DDR4 3000MHz
RTX 5060 OC
Corsair TX550M
500GB SATA 2.5” SSD”

I would say most likely a driver issue. Safe mode DDU to remove the old driver, also tell windows not to update your GPU driver automatically so it doesn't install some generic rubbish. Then a fresh install of the latest driver.

I did a full DDU in safe mode before installing the new GPU, I've also tried freshly reinstalling it twice to no avail.

When it happens, what event viewer IDs are you getting? At the time and just before relating to the GPU?

I'll try with GPU unplugged but I'm fairly certain the 5600 doesn't have an iGPU.
Haven't checked event viewer yet, I'll check after work and get back to you.

It doesn't but, if it's still being odd starting up then maybe a short, bad connection also check the run of the wires connecting to the actual power button.

All of the wires are fine and seated properly... :(

Try wiht the 1080 again, if it works normaly, its gotta be the psu.

How does the system react to that first button press? From no life in the slightest to bios starts but not the OS

The fans spin up but nothing appears on screen, keyboard flashes briefly when pressing a key but no other sign of life. Power button also glows as if it's turned on.
