Anyone know if stuff like this is worth it? I'm look for reviews or experie ces with these. The price is pretty high, usually $400-1000+. It's all from China so IDK. I can get an OEM-style unit for maybe $80, but I'm curious if headlights like these are worth the money. I've seen some pictures of builds using them but not many details.

Some are good, some are complete and utter garbage. Most will not be DOT rated which makes them illegal to run technically but I don't know anyone getting screwed for that unless they're getting inspected for other shit

Aftermarket headlights vary wildly in quality.

If you live anywhere where they take cars seriously, you will need a light with an E watermark to be legal

OEM ones are cheaper because they’re just normal OEM headlights. Most aftermarket ones have upgrade, with different designs inside the housing, different DRL designs, better illumination, LEDs instead of halogens, halos, RBG controls, different lense designs, etc… you name it.
Would I be worried that it’s from China? Not really, even the OEM shit you buy from the dealership is made in China.

I did for my Subaru. They are quite good.
