Anyone here take prozac or any sort of psych meds? Did you tell your employer and the Dr for your MEC?

I got prescribed a low dose of Prozac for a few reasons. I haven't started taking it yet but I would like to on my next weekend off. I am not aware of any side effects that I would face or if I'll have any at all since it's a low dose. I'm just wondering if I should tell my employer or keep it to myself. I also have my MEC due in a few months so, not sure if I will get the renewed or not with the meds.

Up to you.
I’m on celexa and I told my doctor. I get a one year card because of it. Stupid in my opinion but whatever.

Employers, no. Medical certification exam, yes.

Between you and your doctor, that's it.

Don't say a word. Just know that if you get in big enough accident the authorities and lawyers will eventually find out so try to not do that.

Keep it to yourself. They don’t need to know all that. I wouldn’t put it on anything. MEC or anything. Just remember those things suck to start and stop. So just be prepared. I was on Lexapro for a couple of years. Awful to start and stop but it did help.
