We always had SO MUCH Diet Snapple peach tea in the house.
No other flavors.
Parents bought cases of it at a time, because Rush Limbaugh just wouldn't stfu about it.
This stuff will always be strongly tied to loud and angry adults being loud and angry all the time in my mind.
Rush Limbaugh served as a prominent spokesperson for Snapple in the early 1990s, a partnership that significantly boosted the brand's national distribution and sales. Limbaugh had originally promoted the beverage organically on his radio show because he enjoyed the product, leading the founders to hire him for paid commercials after his producer suggested the arrangement.
I grew up in the Northeast, but these make me think of going to a deli. Get a sandwich and hit the drink cooler. Will it be Snapple, Mistic (the ones that looked like Michelobs, not the new iteration), Nantucket Nectars, or a New York Seltzer?
🤣 Those are all bomb ass selections. My wife and I were finding New York Seltzers in the grocer about 8 years ago in glass bottles with the foam wrapper but then the were gone. Mystic waters were fucking 🔥 too. Nantucket is still around.
Snapple peach tea was my jam. I think they changed the recipe because it was never as good as it was when I was in middle school and scraping for change for the vending machine

Rush AND Howard Stern did ads for it? I wonder if that's why Howard stopped endorsing it
IceSmiley@reddit
Do they still make Snapple? I remember Wendy the Snapple Lady on TV ads and Howard Stern used to do radio ads for it

Kids today will never know the sound of a Snapple top being popped right next to your ear.
SpaceCadetEdelman@reddit
Or Popping the bottom of a sealed bottle..
JonnyQuest1981@reddit
I used to really work those caps in. The more you popped them the louder they got. Trivia and audio annoyance, what teen didn’t love them?

Yeah I got what I could of the New York Seltzers when they made a comeback and they were as good as I had remembered. Then blink and they were gone.
Stuffleapugus@reddit
They were one of the few things that came back and hit like the old school.
SinStarsGalaxy@reddit
I drank so many of those strawberry kiwi and grapeade bottles.
Snapple facts on the caps. My dad had collected so many of them.
Slammnardo@reddit
The mint was the best one. I would freeze them until the outside became crystalized but the inside was still liquid it was incredible.

Still miss the strawberry lemonade flavor. It was like drinking a liquified pink Starburst.

Still have zero feeling in 3 1/2 of my fingers from falling on a broken one in a field when I was a teenager.👍🏼

One of these, a bag of Gardettos, and a Little Debbie. The nutritious lunch that got me through four years of high school.

I lived for those lemonades, man. Peach, cherry… they were all so good.

Where did the glass go? The juice tasted better.
