I’m wanting to buy a much better bike and have $2,700 saved so far in my PayPal

The electric mountain bike I currently have was $600 off Amazon but now I’m wanting a much better one mainly because the battery wobbles a lot while I’m riding so hopefully I can get a new e-bike where I can insert the battery inside of the Bike frame instead of overtop of it.
Especially so it’s less exposed to rain when I try to get home.
And I also want a different bike that is easier to switch gears at night to get up hills and possibly has integrated turn signals incase there’s a car behind me so I don't get rear ended and get my back wheel broken.
I was looking at the Aventon level 3. It has an adjustable handlebar and some really nice features.
It’s just there needs to be different bikes where it’s easier to switch gears in very dark areas for steeper hills so I can actually climb up them.
I don’t get to go out a lot and getting outta the house shouldn’t be so complicated or cost a bunch of money every month over and over again.

I think the level 3 is not a bad choice, but the level 4 is not much more expensive and better in every way.

There’s an Aventon level 4?

Yes, it's the latest Level model and it has some nice upgrades. It comes in two models the Level 4 REC that runs for $2000 and the Level 4 ADV which is $2800. The big difference with the ADV is it is a mid motor instead of a hub and it gets 100nm of torque ( vs 80nm with the REC ) which really helps in climbing hills and such. If you can afford the ADV it is a really nice upgrade to the REC which is a nice bike on its own.

Yeah my town has a lot of hills and inclines. Saving more for the ADV might help a lot

If you watch the Electric bike report review of each, the rear hub finished their hill climb faster. If you are doing a very long ascent the mid drive will be better as the hub may overheat.

$2700 will get you a pretty nice ebike. I recommend that, regardless of whether you plan on buying online or not, you first go to a few ebike stores and check out they various option and models to get a better idea of what you really like.

Yeah I thought hard about electric scooter but don’t know if I wanna risk but being confiscated so maybe with an E-bike I wouldn’t get pulled over easily

For your budget, you can buy a very good and decent e-bike... Go to stores, talk to sellers and bike owners, what are their experiences for that money... And the question is, do you want a trek or fat tires bike...👍

Not being critical here but what is impairing you from changing gears? Some people call pas levels "gears" is that what u mean

Yesterday, some users reported that Aventon would crash; the smart system needs to be properly maintained.
