I’ve always wondered if Air NZ’s air con bill is (ever so slightly) bigger than other airlines? Sitting on the tarmac in a black metal tube, surely it heats up quicker…

I swear I saw one of these the day after my mom posted on Facebook that zebra stripes were to keep flies off as it confused them. So I snapped a photo of this plane and said "it's to keep the flies off". lol 😂

That is no insult to me. The face upon that tail honors the Indigenous peoples of Alaska, and I’d consider it a far greater privilege to be mistaken for a symbol of their strength and endurance than for any politician.
The Korean flag has a red and blue yin/yang symbol, but the added white space in between them kind of breaks the association for me and all I see is the Pepsi swirl.
I’m a big fan of the Northwest bowling shoe 747s, but I’m also biased cuz I took this picture of one at a boneyard just a few days ago! Was so neat getting to see this gorgeous hulk in person, but so sad to see her rotting.
Singapore's tropical was among the best liveries i've seen, its insanely sad it was discontinued (my condolences to the affected passengers and crew and their families on SQ006), wish we could see it again.

far more classy than air canada itself. fuck air canada.

My favorite livery is the same one as you put. Transaero's tiger livery on their 747s. I do like both cats and the jumbo.

You need to see the building in LA. from far is a big confusion if it's Pepsi or Korean air

Don't worry, there really was a Pepsi plane, albeit briefly, and it was quite something: https://www.heritageconcorde.com/pepsi-blue-concorde-1996

They still have a 737 in the old scheme. Also they have the Astro jet 737 which is also bare metal.

Now presenting “Bare Metal”. A luxurious, almost sinfully thin livery, enabling you to feel every rivet and joint. Brought to you by Astroglide.
Ficsit-Incorporated@reddit
This is news to me and I’m so glad to learn baremetal liveries survive even if it’s in very limited numbers.
Ficsit-Incorporated@reddit
Sadly none of these are left flying. The closest we get is the Flagship heritage livery. It’s okay, I guess, but simply not nearly as good.
