No, I don’t mind! My pup was a chihuahua/terrier mix named Twizzler 🥰 my love. He loved apples, cheese, and wrestling with me until he got a little too old, so we had to slow down. He was a family dog but my favorites times were when it was just me and him riding around in the car. It’s been a few years now since he passed but I still love him.

we never knew what breed she was but she was advertised as a mini pin by the shelter that we drove two hours to pick her up at, but she was definitely not a mini pin since she was like 20 lbs and had long deer legs. i was like, 12, she was my birthday present. she would sleep with me every night, tucked up against my shoulder and chest; if i rolled so my back was facing her, she'd roll so we were back to back. food motivated like crazy, would eat anything. the vets were always excited to see her because she was so well behaved, when she passed the techs sent me a 'sorry' card signed by everyone and her ink prints. i'm still so grateful; i got one of her paw prints tattooed on me so i'd have her with me forever.

Old man whiskey isn't a super interesting story. I know many people frown on choosing a puppy and buying it, but I buy my doggies from a reputable and ethical breeder for dobermans (big slobber huggers) but this summer I am adopting a shelter dog to hopefully bandaid my heart.

i dont think theres anything wrong w buying from a reputable breeder if you're looking for a certain breed. but tbh, definitely try a shelter dog when you're feeling a little better; they'll absolutely warm your heart and they need a home so bad.

I’ve had 2 Dobermans. 1 was my favorite dog I ever owned. He was the best of the best. 2nd one was kind of an asshole. I still loved him but my boy Puddy (named after Elaine’s boyfriend, Seinfeld) was so good.
They both passed away at 10 years old due to congestive heart failure. I miss them dearly. Beautiful dogs.

This sauce is olive oil (with a pound of meatball mince seasoned and seared through it). Deglaze with half a cup of white wine once you have crispy beef bits and maillard goodness. then cook 2 big scoops of mushroom, one big scoop of shallot. Once those are done add half a cup of cream, a cup of stock, prwviously seared (or dried) herbs de provence. Simmer yoir balls in for aboit 20 minutes once the sauce is done

her name is Bella shes a complete sweetheart!! she is a German Shepard Golder Retreiver mix and her original owner got her to be a hunting dog. she is terrified of loud bangs and i think she was abused by her original owner too when she didnt fill out her intended role. she literally loves kids and strangers and chasing the squirrels up our trees. we (used to) go for walks every day i took on a traveling job and i unfortunately dont get to see her so much anymore. now that the timeline is setting in im very sad because yeah i havent been around to give her a good life and shes on the tail end of hers 😞
