theyre close to 300 bucks but my next gun is gonna be a 10/22 and I was thinking of making it super safe. BUT I think the 22 SS/FRT'd guns are more picky on ammo and might even need pricier ammo so it wont be as much of a "savings" as youd think...at least thats my understanding cuz I been researching it lately

Many of us here wish we had a local Academy so we could just pick up in store. Being able to find the made in Brazil boxes of Monarch 9mm would also be great. I am still trying to use up my made in Turkey by ZSR 9mm 115gr Monarch ammo I bought during their 2024 Black Friday sale. The speed varies from 1000 FPS to 1200 FPS so it has a terrible consistency in loading but at least it has not blown any of my pistols--not yet.

There were still a few very good sales at Academy and Scheels this year but other sellers seemed to have rising prices. Academy has raised the price on this ammo and increased their shipping fees.
