Little information about the Victory Park shooting?

I live in victory park and partially witnessed the shooting on Sunday evening involving police and an armed man. It felt like a major situation, but there’s barely been any information released. Just curious if anyone knows what ended up happening or why there hasn’t been much reporting

Also saw it happen and curious as well. Mostly saw the suspect laying down by the tracks and thought it was the homeless on the bridge fighting until I saw the police move into my vantage point. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me with the amount of shots fired

Same! Police were out there with yellow tape taking pics and finding all the bullet casings, I presume, till at least 2AM

Unfortunately, this is the new normal, the news cycle is so fast now and gun violence is nothing unusual. Granted, this involved law enforcement, there's usually an investigation by the department and a watchdog group. That's the weird part.

It’s still not giving any information, just a summary of what a bystanders video captured. Like the report says, no information on what led up to it has been released.
