Got pulled over for random inspection.

Checked my paperwork

Checked my truck

Checked my trailer

Checked my straps

Checked my logs

Yes there is one on both sides, as well as probably a monitor with a passenger side step view right in the middle of the top of the windshield

I will say the video screen does pick up that car along side better. So that’s something. But how does it dim at night? My car has a big screen dash and the map goes day to night. But it’s still kind of bright at night to the point I lower the setting a bit if it’s really dark.

these mirror-replacements are actually pretty good at "night mode." the light source behind the screen can dim down fairly low so as to not mess with one's night visibility. honestly, I believe headlights in physical mirrors are far worse than these new electronic mirrors
