Is it realistic to take the SAMRA/SARON tests in the same day?

I'm booking my SAMRA and SARON tests for my ATPL and I see TC offers both tests daily at 8:30am and 12:30pm. For anyone who has done these exams, is it realistic to take both tests the same day? I'm traveling to Calgary for the Aerocourse and it completes the day before the exams, so I'd obviously like to take them right after the course. I'd also like to hammer them out in the same day because then I don't need to book an additional night in the hotel, but I don't mind doing that if taking the tests the same day isn't realistic.
Would this be too much, or is it common to take them same-day like this?

I didn’t do this, but friends did. One of the issues is because i think they’re listed as 3.5hr exams, the afternoon slot is only for 3hrs or less, so you may run into booking issues. At least that was the afternoon slot at 4900 Yonge in Toronto. I remember booking them by email, and my buddy (I wish I had done this because I had to travel too) emailed them and said he’d waive the extra 30 mins to be able to write them back to back, and TC was cool with that and let him book same day. If they’re still booking via email, just tell them that and hopefully they give you the same treatment.

Cool. Thanks. Do you think it would be too much for one day mentally? I do pretty good with tests, just asking your opinion.

Meh, probably not, especially fresh off of Aerocourse. If you got the books and practice questions ahead of time and did all your studying beforehand, you’d be fine to do em back to back IMO. This way if you get stuck on anything you can ask the instructors when you go, instead of like me that had to email them a couple times to clear up my misunderstandings lol
