A-Train/Public transit to Cattleack BBQ?

I used to live in Denton, (never used public transit before) visiting from out of state. I want to go eat at Cattleack but my GF is deathly afraid of the highways. How realistic/convenient is it to take the A-Train from Medpark in Denton into Dallas and stay on public transit to get to or close to Cattleack just south of Addison? What would the timeframe be and what route should I plan?

If you're ok with not taking transit the entire way, you can get from Downtown Denton A-Line stol to the Farmers Branch Green Line stop in exactly an hour. Then, you can take a Lyft or something for the last 15 min leg.

Legitimate question: does the Silver Line connect with the Denton A-Line? If it does, that might get even closer, considering it goes directly through Addison.

The Silver Line to A-Line connection is still in construction. Right now, you can connect by taking the Green Line for one stop between Trinity Mills and Downtown Carrollton station.

Thank you. I appreciate this information. (I live up by the Richardson/Garland end, and I know that part is moving regularly, but I didn't know if it was completed. Again, thank you for the elaboration.)
