What is a good online pharmacy for prescription deliveries?

Hi, hope this is a good place to post this question.
I am mostly housebound and don't have any support to run errands etc for me so I need to have my NHS prescriptions delivered to my home. I currently use Coda Pharmacy but have been repeatedly let down by them and their app is inaccurate. I previously used Boots but had similar issues so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a pharmacy that is honest and reliable please?
Thanks in advance.

I highly recommend direct dawai for online pharmacy.

I use The Independent Pharmacy and have personally found them much more reliable than some of the bigger pharmacies I’ve tried previously. Deliveries and communication have been consistently good for me, so they might be worth considering if you need a dependable home delivery service.

Thanks for this!

Pharmacy4U is great, been using them since 2020 and had no issues.

Can second this. They’ve been great for me.

Great to hear, thanks for this!

I use Boots and have never had an issue with them personally? It’s always been a great service.
I get my monthly blood pressure medication through the door via Royal Mail from them at no extra charge.

I am glad you haven't had any problems but unfortunately I had far too many. For example, I was repeatedly lied to by staff on the phone, for instance telling me items had been despatched when they hadn't. They would never tell me when an item wasn't in stock and often didn't put a missing item note in the box with my other items. I had voicemails from an unknown number in the evening from a guy who sounded like he was calling on his car speakerphone. The app/emails only work if you order through them, not if you order through the NHS app or if your doctor prescribes you new meds.
Nothing was ever done to rectify any of the issues. I left them months ago and they still send prescription reminder emails with no option to stop them. I tried contacting Boots for help and they told me to call a number that has nothing to do with this.

Sorry that sounds awful. I must have just been lucky!

Your experience is irrelevant, because their boots service is clearly not as good

Ouch…

I've used a few, but for regular vital deliveries I'd go for the one nearest you (or the next nearest if that's been crap), so when there's a problem they can fix it more easily.

I used to use my local but they charge for delivery, plus they don't have a particularly pleasant telephone manner so it caused me too much anxiety.

I used pharmacy 2 u for mine, my sons and my cats prescriptions (they have an animal medication arm as well) and only had an issue with one of my medications but that was because the manufacturers were stopping that dosage. Change by the doctors and all sorted.

Good to hear the issue was easily resolved, thanks so much for sharing!

Pharmacy2U has always been great for me. I've been using them for around 4 years. Only ever had 1 misshap where 2 lots of meds were missing, but, that also could have been the drs. It was rectified within a couple of days.

This is so good to hear, thank you!

Chemist4u or pharmacy2u is good

Thank you. I had wondered about them but wanted to get some first hand user feedback first. Do you use them?

Yeah I have type 1 diabetes and my son is on prescription formula so we’re regulars with prescriptions in my house, I’ve used both and never had a problem, always on time always well packed, just make sure you’re realistic about your ordering time it is Royal Mail so allow for working days etc but other than that its breezy!

Thank you, this helps a lot! Hopefully it'll be third time lucky after nothing but headaches and frustration with Boots and Coda Pharmacy 🤞

+well pharmacy, I use the app, put my gp surgery details and order my prescriptions and get them posted in a few days

Thank you, this is so helpful!

I use Chemist4u and the only issue I have is Royal Mail. They can be a bit hit and miss with delivering on time.
As long as you give enough time to have your doctor approve the prescription, then they are really prompt with dispensing.

This is really useful, thank you!
