what kinWhat kind of absurd organization is this? There is seriously a large section in that 300 page word soup report titled "Genocide", where they try desperately to twist and stretch reports of sexual violence to fulfil a definition of genocide. For what purpose? They know its insane and pointless. Everyone reading it knows its insane. It must be such an unbelievable mental effort to perpetrate an ideology and a genocidal government so firmly rooted in victimhood and siege mentality, that this is what they need to convince themselves that they are good people.
FerdinandTheGiant@reddit
From reading your comment I thought they tried to make an argument that the sexual violence amounted to genocide in a manner similar to the sexual violence in Rwanda, but that’s not what their argument was.
They are just arguing that the sexual violence shows is that there was dehumanization which, within the context of the killing and targeting of civilians, supports an inference of genocidal intent.
HRSuperior@reddit
They call it a “genocidal campaign” in your excerpt.
Slicelker@reddit
What was Hamas' goal on Oct 7th if not to genocide Israel?
HRSuperior@reddit
How should I know? There wasn’t a genocide.
McAlpineFusiliers@reddit (OP)
Why not? It was indiscriminate killing on a massive scale.
HRSuperior@reddit
you don’t have to embarrass yourself, mate. they’re not gonna give you anything for comments on a removed post
McAlpineFusiliers@reddit (OP)
Your denial of Palestine's genocide is what's embarrassing. Can you answer the question?
Slicelker@reddit
Genocide denier. You're a horrible person.
FerdinandTheGiant@reddit
Derail the Abraham Accords, inflict violence on an enemy population, cause terror within said population, bring international attention to Palestine, and capture hostages for a prisoner exchange.
It seems unlikely that Hamas’ goal was to cause the destruction of a substantial part of the Israeli population.
waiver@reddit
Stop the normalization process, capture hostages
McAlpineFusiliers@reddit (OP)
It was a genocidal campaign. Hamas executed people on sight.
FerdinandTheGiant@reddit
Yes, they think Hamas commited or attempted genocide on October 7th. They don’t think the rape and sexual violence that occurred amounted to genocide.
HRSuperior@reddit
I mean, they do. You said it “supports an inference of genocidal intent.” I’m sorry, what’s the point of this argument?
FerdinandTheGiant@reddit
Supporting an inference of genocidal intent is not the same as amounting to an act of genocide, something I mentioned in my first comment. Your initial framing seemed to suggest the latter whereas they were claiming the former.
HRSuperior@reddit
Oh, ok. That wasn’t my intention. Not that the semantics really matter. In any case, the sexual violence is being used to bolster this image of a perceived genocide in order to make it appear more brutal. Whether or not the Israeli government deem it an “inference of genocidal intent” or an act of genocide is almost irrelevant, because even if there is no legal or logical basis for it being a genocide, just throwing around the word “genocide” that often is supposed to generate a very specific irrational emotional mental image, which really is the theme of this whole report.
Pklnt@reddit
I'll just leave it there:
This is what OP had to say when a report was pointing out Israeli soldiers using sexual violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.
So before you get fooled by the crocodile tears, remember that this person had no problem dismissing sexual violence in the past ''because it happens everywhere''.
McAlpineFusiliers@reddit (OP)
Sexual violence does happen in prisons across the world. The atrocities committed by Palestine were extraordinary, and deserving of extraordinary condemnation and attention.
SamuelClemmens@reddit
Though that article was also put out for just this reason, a way to take the steam out of this report.
Because much like people who downplayed the last article are posting this one, people who posted the last article and proclaimed Israelis a reprehensible people are going to downplay this one.
Firecracker048@reddit
Yup exactly this. Blazing hot take, but rape and sexual violence are bad, no matter who does it. Trying to downplay it and make it seem like its not bad aren't good things.
Its always when one of these reports comes out about Hamas, the 'we don't support them' side goes full up in arms/flailing around mode to say it didn't happen/it wasn't that bad/they lie about it. Shit all you gotta do is look at the NY Times initial report on it in 2024 and see how angry some got that it was reported on.
Pklnt@reddit
Your hypocrisy is ridiculous.
You claim that downplaying sexual violence is bad, but if you were actually believing that, you wouldn't say shit like this on other sub:
If you were actually agreeing that downplaying sexual violence was bad, you wouldn't say that this thread is at 0 upvotes because we're pro-Hamas or that this report only come out due to the NYTimes report on Israeli sexual violence. But that this thread is at 0 upvotes because it's posted by a guy that literally downplayed sexual violence.
Firecracker048@reddit
Posted it there because youve proven the allegations here lol well done
Not true at all(not about the guy). Every time the sexual assault and rapes of Oct 7th are brought up, it's always either denied, downplayed or not given then attention it deserves because of simple alignment of who you support.
Otherwise your initial comment would have been condemnation about the acts themselves.
But If you really believe it's about who posted it, link to the CNN article here yourself. Make the post. Garutnee it will have the same reaction. Yet strangely these kinds of articles always don't get the proper attention or outright denials from the same group.
And before you accuse me of anything, I'll say the same thing I've always said. Israelis do it? Lock em up and prosecute. Palestinians do it? Same thing. Europeans? Same thing. Americans ? Same thing. Get DT out of office and in a jail cell.
Pklnt@reddit
"If you point out that someone is hypocrite because he was previously excusing sexual violence, you're pro-Hamas. By the way I'm very neutral"
Firecracker048@reddit
Glad youve admitted you've previously excused sexual violence because of your beliefs.
Pklnt@reddit
Another strawman argument to add to the pile.

I'm seriously astonished how he's still allowed to post here despite clearly breaking at least one of the rules (but pointing out is also breaking a rule -_-)
HockeyHocki@reddit
What rule?
Davidat0r@reddit
This guy is clearly a Zionist collecting pity for his favorite terrorist state
waiver@reddit
This is his day job.
Karthak_Maz_Urzak@reddit
These reports are useful litmus tests to show who really cares about human rights and who just hates Israelis. Same in the opposite direction for the reports of the IDF committing sexual violence.
HalfLeper@reddit
It looks like it got removed, unfortunately. But it would be somewhat surprising if at least a certain degree of this didn’t happen. Honestly, it really starts to make me think that most here are bots farming outrage and polarization, because, honestly, how hard is it to just accept that maybe the IDF and Hamas are both bad?

Why would you even bother posting that on here. In the words of the poster child for this sub and left-wing brainrot in general, comrade Piker;
Pklnt@reddit
Imagine talking about brainrot when you made an incest erotica on Reddit
I'll spare this sub by posting the content.
HockeyHocki@reddit
Resorting to kink shaming now😂. It's Haram I get it. Account was hacked abut a year or two ago iirc, fun times.
Pklnt@reddit
Don't talk about brainrot when you make stories like that.
HockeyHocki@reddit
Are you thick or blind?
Pklnt@reddit
No, it's just that you're not fooling anyone by claiming your account was hacked.
HockeyHocki@reddit
If you actually went back and looked like the proper little tryhard detective you are you should have seen there were like half a dozen erotica stories posted across multiple subs in less than 12 hours.
I guess i became a prolific writer overnight then packed it in for good the next day😂 Donkey
Pklnt@reddit
You were defending Israel so well that the ghost of yahya sinwar had to hack your account to post one incest story, unlucky
HockeyHocki@reddit
Even in death his depravity knows no bounds😉
CricketJamSession@reddit
He ain't wrong though is he?
kapsama@reddit
If it doesn't matter why are you here?
Pklnt@reddit
Do you really want to waste your time arguing with someone that makes incest erotica on Reddit?
kapsama@reddit
Incest erotica? Oh lord.
Zipz@reddit
Shame how so many people in this sub want to ignore this
Yet they claim to be good people
The bigoted double standard for you guys is something else
visthanatos@reddit
Honestly i never understood why it was so hard for people to even acknowledge the possibility of sexual violence being perpetuated during oct. 7 it wouldn't be the first time members of resistance groups have done that nor would it negate Israel's decades oppression of Palestinians.
Upper-Rub@reddit
They aren’t making the claim sexual violence occurred, they are saying it was “systematic, widespread, and integral to the Oct 7th attack”. That is a wildly different claim that requires a much higher standard of evidence.
waiver@reddit
It’s the difference between saying American troops committed r*pes during WWII and saying it was official Army policy.
Someguy210@reddit
And yet we had morons that were trying to say hostages were being treated well and with respect. And they’ll see this and still deny the facts. Over half the comments in here will probably be clowns denying it lol.
Status_Winter@reddit
Convenient timing, this released just as the NYT published a bombshell report on systematic sexual atrocities committed by Israelis against Palestinians “The Silence That Meets the Rape of Palestinians”
Also, who has been “Silencing” Israeli victims of sexual violence until now? I’ve been hearing about those victims in depraved detail since 2023. That’s such a disgusting subversion of reality and I’m sick of seeing Israelis weaponise not just sexual atrocities, but trying to present themselves as victims of what they’re doing to others gleefully every day.
