im fairly a new to pc building, currently ive just put things together with slightly more than surface research, i just wanted to ask for any case advice and if the psu will work for this as my friend was saying go with 850w.
im aware that with with the 9070xt is strongly recommended to just go with a ryzen 7 but im pulling more towards the 9950x3d.
from what ive seen an aio is recommended for this build
not sure if im missing something big since im a bit clueless, please correct me if im wrong anywhere
sorry for the poor english, its not my first language
the build
AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D,
ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro,
MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk
MAX WiFi, G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5‑6000 CL30 32GB (2×16GB),
Crucial P510 2TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD,
Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB,
MSI MAG A750GL PCIe5 750W 80+ Gold

What's the use case.

some esports games, streaming, 4k games and some content/editing sorts

I would get a 9800x3d and a 5070ti. For gaming the 9950x3d doesn't offer more frames and at 4k any x3d chip will be limited by gpu power anyway. If you can get a 5070ti for a decent price it's a good entry level 4k card and for singleplayer games framegen/dlss is pretty great vs fsr. Amd are OK but for me if I wanted to play at 4k I would go with nvidias upscaling. The nvidia encoders are also the best for content creation/streaming.

So just to be clear, are you saying OP should skip the 7900/9070 XT entirely and drop to a 5070 Ti, or are you thinking more like “wait for prices and see what lines up”? I went through a similar choice and found 4K felt a lot nicer with something closer to a 4080/7900 XTX tier, especially once I cranked RT in single‑player stuff.
Also curious how much the encoder mattered in your setup. I switched from an AMD card to a 4070 Super mainly for NVENC and it helped a ton with OBS, but I still see people saying modern AMD is “good enough” for casual streaming.
For tracking this kind of GPU debate across subs I tried a few tools; keyword alerts in Google and TweetDeck were meh, but Pulse for Reddit actually caught threads I was missing when I was speccing my own rig.

The 5070ti has 2x encoders and will record stream and play games well at the same time. Video editing software takes advantage of CUDA/NVENC so you won't need a high core cpu. Dlss is supported by 750games fsr is 200ish most big releases support fsr but at 4k you will probably be using upscaling. Nvidia has a proven track record of supporting the rtx cards with the 20 series still able to use the latest dlss 4.5 I feel like an nvidia shill saying this but I find it hard to recommend AMD cards right now as the traditional strengths they have always had strong raster at good pricing but we now live in a world where upscaling and frame gen are becoming requirements recommended by developers rather than ways to get older hardware to run newer games better. I have owned a lot of amd cards too back to the 9800pro 1800xtx 3780x2 4570 5070 7970 rx480 5700xt.

I'm just a nerd on the Internet though so do a little research yourself first OK?

okok ty for information , ill keep taking a look at whats going on with the amd and nvidia comparisons and increase psu, and i most likely will upgade the gpu in a few years
Blazed_Reaper@reddit
Go for a RM1000x Corsair PSU to give some headroom because that GPU needs at least 850W
TechnicalSort6639@reddit (OP)
Ok thank you for he recommendation, I'll try to find a good deal on it.
preecypatsa@reddit
You need atleast 850 psu for gpu
AlTh0R_r4nd@reddit
I would definitely upgrade the psu to at least 850w or higher.

oh for budget i just was trying to keep it under \~4500 aud
