That isn't the point, at all. Objective testing helps everybody. All clean data is good data.
If you are a manufacturer putting out top tier suppressors, you should want Pew to test it. If you don't want it tested, you're shady. It's as simple as that.

That is the point.
Pew Science charges thousands of dollars for their testing. They charge their subscribers to see the exclusive results of their subscriber funded testing.
Exigent isnt blocking pew from testing their cans. Nobody is. If pew subscribers want them to test the cans, because they want to be informed buyers, then they should ask pew to test the cans. But instead most of the subscriber funded cans are on older outdated stuff that wont hurt the sales of their top clients.
Chip on my shoulder about pew? No. I read the public data and like to see the testing. But I dont spam every gun sub to try to get Jay some business everytime a non-pew-tested can is mentioned. Its getting obnoxious

Do you do nfa transfers for free? Do you plan to sell Silencers at your cost? No? Crazy, you must want that $$$.
And if he gives out 15 Silencers for free thats 15 Silencers he isnt making money on, still costs money. How different is that than paying pewscience to test it? He had h&k test the fireteam, maybe they did it for the love of the game and he didn't pay them. H&k is well known for their generosity.
Either way he is putting out cash on these, this isnt "oh he's a small company and can't afford it".

The testing is non-destructive and the manufacturer should want to send them a test sample (which they could receive back). If the manufacturer does not want to send a test sample to Pew Science, the only conclusion that we, suppressor buyers/enthusiasts can reasonably come to is that the can would not perform well so the manufacturer is protecting their reputation.
If it's an amazing, competitive product, there's ZERO reason they wouldn't be excited to put it in Pew's hands. Let's just be transparently honest about that.

Thats not how pew science works. Companies have to pay roughly $10,000 for pew to test their cans. Or jay has to decide to test it with subscriber funds.
