Can a pc run without 2 fans?

I have an nzxt h6 flow case, finished build, but i am still missing 2 bottom fans. can i technically already use it? should i maybe cover the bottom hole so the airflow isnt messed up?

The only important one is the rear exhast. The rest are optional in normal pc cases.

Many computera can run with a solitary case fan. Really after two case fans (one intake / one exhaust) additional fans are already in the area of diminishing returns. Going from two to 10 may reduce CPU / GPU temperature by a whopping 3c-5c.

Back in the 90s PCs didn’t even have case fans, and even when they became a thing in the 2000s one rear and one lower front fan was all that most cases cases offered. That’s still all most PCs really require, TBH.

You technically dont need any fans on a case. And there are next to no benefits thermally above 2 fans. So

I'd say most people don't even have bottom fans. You technically only need an intake fan and an exhaust. Everything further will just boost your cooling. I'd never cared about bottom fans. I do 3 front/intake fans on a full tower, and 2 on a mid-tower. Then one exhaust on top and back. You aren't getting a ton of cooling from bottom fans since the case is either on a desk or the floor.

Very similar set up to you,lian li lan cool 217. X2 170mm front intake X1 120mm top rear exhaust X1 140mm rear exhaust X1 120mm mounted on bottom above my drives to push air directly to my GPU Honestly on my 5070 x2 shadow, a surprising amount of the heat comes out the back of the PC, thru the card and doesn't even go into the case

I have the NZXT H3 Flow with 5070 Ti GPU and I don’t have any bottom fans but don’t cover holes lol

..so you have intake fans and one rear exhaust?\ bottom fans can help the gpu hotspot but are not necassary. same results can be achieved by undervolting or just capping the fps.

As long as temperatures hold up you gonna be fine, in my old rig even my PSU fan die and still was working fine but since I had 0 fans around the tower I had to remove the side panel to give it some air for the Intel 4790K and GTX 1060 some room to breathe.
