If two people wanted to take a trip to israel and see the historical christian sites could it be done on 5k dollars?
If it could how many days would you get in isreal for 5k and how many sites could u see?
I'm just curious if that is possible or is that not enough money to do anything. Thanks

Doable depending on what flights you get, If traveling budgetish I'd plan for $125 pp per day.

Ok so $125 per day. that aint' bad. what if i wanted to hire a tour guide for just one of the days how much do they normally cost u?
and is car train or bus the best option for travel. i hear the train

I'm not sure on the tour guide, you'd have to do your own research, this is a budget/very budget subreddit.
When I say budgetish, I mean cheap but serviceable hotel/hostel, walking/public transit, not taxis, grocery store breakfast, takeout lunch and affordable dinner. One or two paid activities per day.
I usually prefer trains but will take the bus depending on price.

Ok great. have you ever been to israel?
Beware-of-Moose@reddit
Have not, have been to 30+ countries, have gotten pretty good at estimating what it would cost me to visit a place with my style of travel.

Why would you go to Israel right now?
pydry@reddit
I guess it would be to prove that they lack all of the normal christian values.

Never said i was going right now.
AlwaysKindaLost@reddit
You're looking at flights
anothercar@reddit
Does this include flights and hotels? If so, where are you flying from?
AngWay@reddit (OP)
Yes the 5k would include everything and i'd be flying from the east coast of the US
anothercar@reddit
Probably possible but it depends on how flexible you are with travel dates, and whether you'd self-guide or pay for a tour guide
AngWay@reddit (OP)
i mean really just need lodging thats decent and eat every day . yes i would be self guiding. although i don't speak hebrew or anything but english so will that make it to hard for me? is english pretty popular in that country?
anothercar@reddit
You can get away with just English

Ok great. i'm just worried about the 5k with two people my biggest fear is getting stuck with no money. but i guess i'd like to spend a minimum of a week but really 10 days if i could.

Why?
