If you could have any actor, past or present, narrate your inner monologue, who would you choose?

I'll take Kevin Conroy
bigpolish18@reddit
Gilbert Gottfried
JustifiedOld@reddit
Martin Starr
ExtremelyWonderful@reddit
It's so many fast incomplete thoughts and incomplete sentences, I think the only one who could pull it off would be Jim Carey. But I'm a girl so that would be super weird.
blondeviking64@reddit
James earl Jones or Morgan Freeman and I dont know how to choose.
VeniVidiVici_19@reddit
I was surprised I had to scroll this far to see James Earl jones. He would be my choice too.
During my college graduation, a classmate was telling me that she had just attended a sibling’s graduation at a nearby university where James Earl Jones had given the commencement speech. Her take was that the speech had been disappointing and lacked substance. My take was - who the fuck cares?? You got to listen to his gloriously beautiful voice, it doesn’t matter at all what he actually said!
blondeviking64@reddit
Lets be fair, no one REALLY cares about the graduation speech. No one is going to drop intense and life changing speech applicable to all graduates in a 10 minute commencement speech. Even the highlight ones on youtube are thin in my opinion. My college speaker started talking about his dad's pig farm and I tuned out immediately. I would HAPPILY have listened to James Earl Jomes talk about his stamp collection for 30 minutes without missing a beat.
Xander134@reddit
I came here to say that I’m firmly in the camp of James Earl Jones.
I’m also hugely surprised and disappointed that he wasn’t selected by more people. Between Star Wars, The Sandlot, and the Field of Dreams, he feels like the perfect choice.
NaughtiestTimeline@reddit
Don’t forget Mufasa! James Earl Jones narrating my inner monologue would be incredible. I’m surprised he’s so far down the list.
GarminTamzarian@reddit
I'd lean towards James Earl Jones as long as the narration could include Darth Vader's breathing.

I was gonna say Fred Rogers, but then I remembered he wasn't an actor. He was authentically himself throughout his career. Yes, he did different character voices on his show, but considering I'd only want his original voice in my head, not his characters, I guess I can't choose him. Oh well.
