Generic replacement for this latch part?

I don't know the proper name for this piece of steel. But I am looking for a generic mass-produced version. I don't need it to fit any particular car, because I am custom building my own fiberglass hood and I'll just put my threaded holes wherever I deem necessary.

I would go to a junk yard, get the striker, the latch, cable and release, from what ever car that looks close to what you want.
