First computer

Atari 2600. I remember the days of buying spiral bound books with basic code that you would retype to create video games and 5.25” floppy disks in the mid 80’s. I was in elementary school at the time. Had access to tons of free video games on Atari from my uncle who worked for Atari at the time in the 80’s. After that a HP 286 1MB RAM and 40MB MFM Hard drive running MS-DOS hand me down computer. He worked at HP at the time was was trying to get me to run OS/Warp. About 6 months after receiving the 286 I went to the local computer shop, purchased a computer case, 386 motherboard, 40mhz Intel cpu and 3x 1MB RAM dimms which I used parts from the 286 to out into my 386 computer. I believe it was running Win 3.11 at the time with 4MB RAM total. About a 18 months later I was being suspended and almost expelled for computer hacking at school that was the early 90’s when I was in High School. It’s been down hill ever since.
