I personally don't understand the hype. It's purely a novelty. There's almost no practical use in mag dumping 16rds of 22lr and the novelty of those mag dumps wear out pretty fast.

I (obviously) agree. I wanted one of these when it was a sub-$300 22 i could throw a can on that has a similar grip angle to my most used handgun.
Spending $400+ to then spend more on an frt and all the accessories needed to make it actually cycle reliably just so you can blast 22 fast enough that the cost/hr of shooting creeps up towards that of a 9mm makes no sense to me.

I gave up. Grabbed a S&W M&P 22X for like tree fiddy and couldn't be more pleased. Runs great, even with cheap bulk Winchester. Like you, I didn't care about the frt and just wanted a host for an OCL Ti22 to plink in the backyard with.

I got my full size with 5 mags for $379 from KY Gun Co. I then sold the green dot for $100 and bought a Holosun 407k locally for $150. Be patient even with transfer fees that’s cheaper than this post.

If you're looking for your first CCW sure, but alot of people on this sub already have a collection and just looking to add more range toys to the mix. Everyone already has a glock, thats why you see them so heavily discounted.
