My experience was limited to 1 indoor range opportunity. Rep offered to let me shoot Rico alongside my cat mob so I could hear the difference using my SP5k and his B&T Ap9. Both on trilug and 124gr. I literally could not hear the difference from a shooter perspective, nor from behind and to the side when the rep shot both. My expectation was the cat mob would be best. My resulting impression was the Rico sounded super super close. Blew me away. No vested interest on my part. Just got lucky being at the range when rep came around and saw my mob. My 2cents.

Man I appreciate the input! I think for a couple hundred bucks less at retail it’s a great value especially if they’re that close. Not to mention the MOB is basically unobtabium.
FYI that wasn’t just a rep that was the owner of the company! Pretty cool you ran into him at the range.

Well now that’s very cool. He was def a nice guy. And yes being close to the mob was what blew me away as I have several other 9mm cans I compared to my mob. Expected similar but nope…Rico very close.

I linked a couple from Shark Coast and 2A Cops in my comment below. They are just now starting to ship out so I’d imagine we are in the single digits of people who got one from a dealer and got a Form 4 back already. Hopefully people start to share their opinions and comparisons to other cans etc. as more get out there.

Hello! I have some of the brand new Exigent Defense RICO309 landing on Monday. If you're tired of not being able to find a MOB, now is your chance to get incredible performance on your 9mm PCC or 300blk without the waitlists and restock notifications and at a better price.
These cans are 3D (DMLS) Printed Grade 5 Titanium, 9oz, 7.25" long, and 1.62" in diameter. They use a "proprietary continuous recirculating flow path" to manage gas and do a great job of it. Recommended mount is a tri-lug style, but they're HUB compatible so you choose your preferred method that works best for you and the intended host.

Unfortunately I haven’t personally shot them side by side, so I can’t say that first hand. Video footage can only tell so much of the story, especially with the microphone capabilities / limitations that most people use for shooting “gun-tube” type content.
That being said - it seems to perform *at least* as well as the Milkman based on the direct comparisons I’ve seen (which itself does extremely well). I have also been told by several people who have had early access to the RICO that it’s the quietest 9mm PCC suppressor they’ve shot. Plus it costs less than most of the current segment leaders at retail. Take that with a huge grain of salt, though, as with any new product from any manufacturer.
Form factor is extremely similar to the MOB Ti with the RICO being a smidge shorter, lighter, and more narrow.
TL;DR - buy one and find out!

I think this will challenge the MOB for quietest long PCC can, but the more suppressors I acquire the more I realize I'd rather have a can half the length that sounds 80-90% as good.

Yeah it's just a smidge shorter than the MOB so it's definitely a long one. Would be great for a short barrel tucked into a handguard, or on an SP5K/AP5K.
