Upgraded to A GTX 5060Ti and now my PC won't turn on

I just got this card and upon opening I realized it was a pcie x8 card so I looked it up and everything says it will work just fine in the x16 but be a little slower than it should. My power supply is 850 so that should be enough as well. All the fans and lights start up but no signal. I tried a different cable as well, even tried it in other motherboards, no signal. Some help would be much appreciated.

Can you return it as defective?

I didn't get the warranty so not sure, but just got it today and receipt says 30 days

I'd consider a return. Honestly.

I did, it was microcenter, they booted it up just perfectly, so it had to be my system but I swapped it for the AMD 9060XT and that works great

Can you just hook the integrated graphics card, and update your 5060's driver, then try again?

It does give me a signal out of the mb when it is plugged in but I don't see anything in device manager and the driver says no compatible devices, so my motherboard is not reading it. I really feel like it some weird compatibility issue not a bad card that's so unlikely. I feel like it has to do with the pcie being 8 lane and it being pcie 3 instead of 5. But every other post I found says those shouldn't be an issue it's all backwards compatible...

reinstall your operation system if possible.

I returned it, and the tech center plugged it in and worked perfectly, so it was my motherboard compatibility I guess. I got the 9060XT and it works good. Figured I'd let yall know for trying to help

Male sure you have the monitor lead plugged into the new graphics card output, not the motherboard.

Something simple is the problem. Is it plugged into the wall. Did you press the power button. Double check the simple things
