Mr target steel hostage figure and rifle dualing tree

Christ almighty $700! If you want affordable targets that will last you a long time and not cost an arm and a leg just get them from "Make it ring targets."
thebesthalf@reddit
That's $700 for the dualing tree stand, add $275 for the steel hostage target on top too.
gRimey556@reddit
Yeah thats crazy! Angle Steel with tubing tacked on the back side and charging $700. The only thing that's possibly been cut out by either laser or water jet is the gongs.

All the steel is AR500 and the tubing is fortified. They did a lot of welding and work for the dualing tree. Steel is expensive now for sure.
I went out with it twice already and it's really fun though. Worth it compared to just static steel shooting at my range

I'm not saying that it's a bad setup I'm just saying it's expensive compared to other companies that make them.

That is a work of art, Id be afraid to shoot that

Do what us poors do and raid the dumpsters of the Pic'n'save and magdump into cansnof cream corn

Here's the thing though, as expensive as steel is, they last forever as long as you take care of them so they're totally worth the investment.
I've got steel plates at my range that have been there for about 20 years. As long as they stay painted where they don't rust, they last forever.

The poor man’s steel target, cans and mild steel plates.
Low-Landscape-4609@reddit
You got that right. I didn't have a lot of money and wanted to build a lot of steel. My father was a welder and we used t1 bucket steel. Yeah, it's not ar500 and doesn't take rifles well but good for handguns.

Looks fun. Nice to have the dueling tree and hostage target together. How much did it cost you?
branflacky@reddit (OP)
To much... $1000

Hit it with boolets.
