worth buying?

currently have a 2080 super paired with a ryzen 9 3900x, 32gb ram and a x570 phantom asrock. would buying this pc for $600 be worth the upgrade? Microsoft Windows 11 Home B550 AORUS PRO AC AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D 8-Core Processor, 3001 Mhz, 8 cores 32gb Ram 3070

The CPU upgrade is definetely worth if you sre mostly gaming but the GPU is not worth the upgrade because you are only gaining around 30% more performance

Where are you getting 30% from? That card is 15-17% better than a 2080 Super

[Techpowerup](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-2080-super.c3439). I mistook the 2080 with the 2080 Super but the 3070 is 25% faster than the 2080 Super.

this is not the upgrade you think it is. Just spend the money and upgrade your GPU 2080Supers still selling for 150 on ebay to recoup some cash.

I mean you could buy just buy 5800x for 150 used and put the rest for a gpu and have a way better upgrade. It's literally just drop in parts, very easy to do

Buy it and sell your PC for $300-400. You could probably haggle him down $50 or $100 too. Better yet kit out your PC and sell by component on Ebay, you'll probably make over $600.

No. You could buy a new Radeon RX 9070 from Amazon right now for $592 that would be \~60% faster than the RTX 3070 and DOUBLE the performance of your 2080 super (yes, quite literally DOUBLE as per techpowerup).

the only difference is the x3d? surely we can just buy a 5700x3d for less than 600 and put it in our board here
