Might be worth checking Hisense as well, they usually have a few decent models under £400 on AO or Currys.

Maybe compare that Beko with a Hisense. They often have better specs for under £400 if you're just doing bedding.

Make sure you really look closely regarding how it actually works. I was given one and its washing is kind of fine- ish (its the first one since buying a house so not much to compare too), but drying can only be set at the start of the wash cycle and nothing can be removed from. So the only time it gets used is to wash and dry towels because there is always something in there that cant be dried. Oh and that would take about 6 hours total. The door is falling off mine and will be replaced a washer only when its time comes.

Take a look at LG washer dryers. My mum and I both have them and they have been good They often come with a bigger drum capacity 8-10kg which means you get a slightly bigger drying capacity too. It’s smaller than the Beko it replaced. And it’s been really quiet. I can wash and dry my bedding in around 3 hours. LG have [this 8/5kg one for £429 ](https://www.lg.com/uk/laundry/washer-dryers/w4x1085nwk/?gclsrc=aw.ds&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=HQ-HS/ES-D2C_HS_ALL_GB_25_AO_HSAD_HS-All-AON_lg.com_purchase_APMS_google-ads_PMAX_PRO_tROAS_PUR_AO&utm_term=&utm_content=&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23302720038&gbraid=0AAAAABJm3aZl5S85mij_vGFtk_GisJUAY&gclid=CjwKCAjwzevPBhBaEiwAplAxvqq6LJpLs5PCaMoy4IfofKX3k7iJa2KzmEVjEDPz7uHukiGxvE96bhoCPjUQAvD_BwE)at the moment which is the model a size down from me They have a 5 year warranty if you register it with them too.

I don't think anyone has managed to surpass Beko for cheapness+reliability

I bought a Hoover Washer Dryer from John LewiS. JL always give a 2 year guarantee, I’ve had mine 4 now and it’s been great. I do live alone so it doesn’t get hammered like it would in a family home.
