so my brother and me was playing on console. split screen ps2 game. he lost, so anyways, later, i find him in my room with potato chips crunched up and he's pouring them in my computer. i got him right before. but a few crumbs fell into the fan holes. idk if its on the motherboard or what. but ants and bugs wont get to it. it was like a lego stud worth of crumbs in it. now as you all would say. pull it apart and clean out. well. someone in another time, decided it would be fun to use the strongest super glue on the market, and glue the case shut and parts cables ends to the parts. like not in the ports but around them. so its a mess to get through. so im not gonna do that. so im gonna have to leave it as is. its fine now. idk if any crumbs are on circuit board. will it be fine? and if you've had a similar time like this. tell me your story. thanks. also on other note. tell me why computers nowdays have so many fan holes. but the 90s and 2000s ones have almost none. what bs,

Chance of ruining your pc, very low. Chance of little brother beat down, very high. Potato chips have very little water in them and are mostly oil. Oil doesnt like to conduct electricity. The only real worry is of somehow one of them got super close to a subcomponent that outputs lots of heat, then you will probably see smoke but that should be the worst of it

Dollar tree sells cans of compressed air. Just clean it out and start locking your room.

i cant use the air the crumbs are lost in computer. plus ive tried. i just gotta know if its gonna fry or ruin my computer if crumbs are on something they shouldnt be. like curcit board or motherboard. if they reach there, also no door lock lol. even toilet dont have lock on door

PCs now a days use a lot more electricity which creates more heat so you need more ventilation. Just get an air compressor or can of air and try and get the dust out. Set fans to max. Should be fine though but if it’s dusty enough it could cause thermals to rise.

oh. so do you think crumbs of chips will be fine if they get on circuit board and stuff? i cant get em out since its glued. compressed air cant work for this as the crumbs are unknown location in the computer

Use the flat side of a phone book, it will leave no bruises.

First thing first you gotta beat your brother's ass.

you think thats bad, he used a usb in the computer port and snapped it out and ruined the port. next boot computer was broken until i opened it and unplugged ports causing short circuts.

Most likely, at least for now. If it was during the build process it would be more of a concern, but crumbs are not going to find their way into a slot that's already occupied by another component.
Computers in the '90s pulled like 80 watts total and could be cooled with a heat sink that looked like this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293044369143
