I'm not a pilot but I do drive a car if that was me and the warning was getting to me I would simply ignore it Because it sounds like it didn't affect the safety of the plane at all because it was an amber warning not a red light so my understanding is it would be kind of like your engine light being on and trying to turn the whole car off Whilst driving and then make sudden quick turning of the steering wheel I just find it crazy If they would have simply ignored the stupid warning light nothing would have happened.
