Volunteering for Citizens Advice, good or bad idea?

I’m currently 16 and I’ve got the really long summer holiday after my GCSEs coming up and I thought it would be a good, productive idea to volunteer as an advisor at Citizens Advice for some of it.
I’ve been really interested in personal finance since I was 7 so I think I’d get a lot out of it but is it a good idea and is there anything I should know beforehand?

Since your post was made three years ago, I’m curious to see if you secured a role at your bureau and how it went if you did!?
I’m thinking of applying to volunteer at my local CA so I’m in the position you were in. My “holiday” this summer is the time off after finishing my law degree before I eventually decide what to do next😅
As I’m unsure, I thought volunteering would be a beneficial buffer role to see how I can develop my people skills.
