Help there a difference?

My people, has anyone tried rams ddr4 2x8 at 4000 mhz vs 1x16 at 5200 mhz? The difference is a lot in performance. Example with these processors
I5 12600kf, r5 5500x3d, i9 13900k.

In case you weren't aware, every workload utilizes your components differently, so the difference between speeds, timings, and single/dual channel comes down to the exact workload. It might make a noticeable difference in one workload, and absolutely no difference in another. One person's anecdotes are meaningless to you unless you both have the exact same workloads.

En gaming es que muchos aborrecen ddr4 y dicen ddr5 da mayor rendimiento pero en no se en este caso si ddr4 tiene esas frecuencias altas o ddr4 a 5333mhz

I don't speak, I assume reddit automatically translates
Heroid12@reddit
4000 is ddr4 and 5200 is ddr5 while the i5 and i9 suppport both the 5500x3d only supports ddr4

If it's true, well, don't explain much, example, that x3d yields equal to a 7500f, then see more than anything the difference of re difference.
Heroid12@reddit
i mean do you mainly play fps games for considering a x3d because if thats not the case then any of them will work fine

5200mhz ddr5 or 4???
5500x3d cannot use 5.
and 4 sound very unstable and not worth it.
just get the 2x8 4000mhz if you talking about ddr4 in both cases.
and get the 5200mhz if its ddr5 i guess so in the future u can just get another stick of 16gb to run 32gb...

El x3d es ddr4, y 4000mhz hablo de ddr4 y 5200 mhz ddr5 la cosa es hay diferencia en gaming no voy a gastar 200 usd en ddr5 por gusto.
Otro que pensé es ddr4 a 5333mhz.

ram speed is important but not that important.
for ddr4 just get 3600mhz cl18 or 3200mhz cl16. (you can also sometimes find 3600mhz cl16).
anything higher than this is diminishing returns for ddr4, and sometimes not stable...
for the most fps in games.
personally i would get the cheapest CPU.
